Parker is a growing suburban town located in the Southeastern Denver metropolitan area. As of 2013, the city was home to more than 48,000 people – more than double the population of the year 2000. During winter, when average low temperatures dip to between 15 and 18 degrees Fahrenheit, it is not uncommon to see the city blanketed in fresh snow. In fact, Parker typically receives about 54 inches of snowfall every year. During the warmer months, temperatures climb to the mid-80s, making it a good time to explore and hike along the popular Cherry Creek Trail.
