Although Iowa does rank seventh-lowest in the nation for drug overdose fatalities, alcohol, marijuana, and meth still pose a threat, especially to the younger crowd.
To keep substance abuse numbers as low as possible, drug policy controllers work hard to minimize the percentage of high school students who use, and to increase job availability for Iowans post-treatment.
