Annette Goodyear MA LPC, NCC has worked in the human service field for over 9 years, with experience in individual and marriage/family counseling, addiction, suicidology, crisis intervention, grief and loss, LGBT issues, homelessness, and human sexuality. She has also gained experience in non-profit and private practice settings.
With a Bachelor of Arts in Family Life Education from Spring Arbor University, and a Master of Counseling from Western Michigan University. In addition to her degrees, Annette also holds a National Counseling Certification. She practices and teaches mindfulness, meditation and deep breathing as holistic forms to cope with an array of struggles. She believes and works from the Cognitive Behavioral practice and exposure therapy. She is working towards a goal of earning a PhD in clinical psychology from Fielding Graduate University.
