Those living in a nursing home who are over the age of 65 have a high risk of mental illness, with 35.3 percent dealing with mood disorders and 11.7 percent struggling with anxiety, stress and adjustment disorders. Anxiety hits adults between the ages of 35 and 54 the hardest, and women are at higher risk than men for this condition.
